About the Leeds Food Aid Network
🤝 Who we are
The Leeds Food Aid Network brings together organisations, community groups and individuals working to address food poverty across the city of Leeds.
🥫 What is food aid?
Food aid refers to a range of services that support people experiencing difficulties accessing enough food. This can include food banks, free meal services, outreach provision and low‑cost food pantries.
💙 How the network supports people
The network helps improve communication between food providers and organisations that support people in need, making it easier to signpost individuals to appropriate services.
🌱 Beyond emergency food
Alongside emergency food provision, the network highlights longer‑term support such as welfare advice, housing assistance, training and health services.
